Mila was rescued from a frontline military checkpoint in Zaporizhzhia, Ukraine. The soldiers had taken her and her two kittens in but knew it wasn’t a safe place for animals so asked if Breaking The Chains could take them.

Mila is such a lovely cat and a devoted mother to her two kittens, Artem and Irina. She always looks as though she is unimpressed or judging you but that does not reflect her character at all.

She is kind and loves attention from us at the shelter. Happy being stroked and purring away with content.
