Male, 4 years old

Phoenix was rescued after losing both his rear paws and 3/4 of his front left paw during a rocket strike in Ukraine.

Due to Phoenix walking on his hind ‘stumps’ he has developed wounds that need regular monitoring and treatment when required. Phoenix is house trained, and barks when he needs to go to the toilet!

He is still getting used to his wheelchair, he mostly stands in it but has taken some small steps. He much prefers to walk on his stumps, which would be fine in short distances (around a house) but not for walks.

Phoenix is an amazing dog and we hope he’ll find his forever home soon!
